MyResQ4U - Disaster Coordination System / Distress Call
MyResQ4U focuses on adapting and innovating design for seamless communication with Rescue Operators, Emergency Call Centers, and family members to ensure assistance is readily available. This app empowers individuals with disabilities to request help effortlessly through a single click. Its straightforward design is tailored for quick access to emergency support.
MyRESQ4U establishes a connection and mapping system between users or victims and Volunteer First Responders, Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), or Emergency Call Centers worldwide. MyResQ4U not only manages emergency coordination but is also capable of managing and carrying out disaster coordination and operations tasks, aid distribution, disaster stock control and rescue operations in disaster areas.
To address this, we have developed a cost-effective solution resembling a mini MERS999 for district Emergency Operation Centers during times of disaster or crisis.
MVRT Disaster Training Center: A Hub for Disaster Preparedness
Situated on 16 acres in Kg. Bendang Nyior, Tanah Merah, Kelantan, the MVRT Disaster Training Center is dedicated to disaster training.
Our vision is to create a facility that equips communities and agencies with the skills needed for disaster resilience and disaster response. The development of this center will occur gradually, relying on limited funding. We will offer a variety of training programs aligned with both local and international volunteer development initiatives.
Under the WHO-EMT Initiative, MCAB aims to attain the status of a WHO Classified Emergency Medical Team. This endeavor will undoubtedly demand the dedication, effort, and sacrifices of team members, alongside necessary financial resources and time. MCAB is hopeful that this initiative will garner support from various stakeholders and receive comprehensive guidance from WHO.
USAR INSARAG Classification Team
Today, we face a multitude of increasingly complex disasters that demand diverse expertise and skills, along with a solid understanding of the robust INSARAG methodology. The MVRT is committed to successfully navigating the USAR Classified Team IRNAP Process at both national and international levels, aiming to become the only NGO in Malaysia to achieve this qualification. MCAB recognizes the critical importance of obtaining the USAR Classified Team status to effectively undertake missions both domestically and internationally, aligning with the capabilities of government agencies and international NGOs.
